William 'Bill' Norris Campbell, 75, of Hortense, passed away Saturday October 8, 2022 at Southeast Georgia Health System.

Born September 15, 1947 to Dorcas Norris Campbell and Charlie Campbell in Brunswick, Bill was a lifelong resident of Glynn County. He was a pipefitter and welder by trade for the Local Union 177, and a member of the Norwich St. Baptist Church. Bill was also a veteran, serving his country in Vietnam from 1966 to 1968. He loved fishing, hunting, and the outdoors, but most of all he loved his family.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Rosalyn Campbell, son, Brian Campbell (Kristin), daughter, LeighAnn Campbell (Chris Fintus), two sisters, Judy Cousino (Kevin),Terri Thomas, four grandchildren, William Campbell, Kaleb Campbell, Jasper Fintus, Aksel Fintus, and brother-in- law Joe Mizelle (Debbie).

A memorial service for Bill Campbell will be held Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 5:00pm at Chapman Funeral Chapel with Pastor David Farrior officiating. A visitation will be held an hour prior at 4.
