William "Billy" Pickren, 58 passed away Monday December 5, 2022 at Southeast Georgia Health System of Brunswick.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 9, 2022, 11:00am at Chapman Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Chapel Park Cemetery, with John Wayne Rhodes, Mark Stabile, Rob Hubbard, JW Bramlett, Lance Nazzrie, Daniel Roberson, serving as active pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of A & B Electric; Chris Meders, Randis Landon, AJ Smith, Tab Taylor, Henry Kelly, Kameeko Hall, Rodney McDowell, and Emily White.  The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.

Billy is survived by his girlfriend of 14 years, Karen Nidiffer Olsen, his sister, Debbie Worth (Bear), children, Jason Pickren (Sara), Holly Stuckey (Crystal), Nikki Crosby (Troy), Angela Brower, Sandy Pickren, stepchildren, Tyler White, Russell Dinkins, Amber Dinkins, grandchildren, Da'Kael, Olivia, Mariah, Torri, Brenton, Kambria, Kaliyana, Ryder, Rylie, Reed, Makala, Maleaya, and Avery, great grandchildren, Amir and Kaelyn.  Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Gene and Sandra Laricy Pickren, and Donna Pickren.

Billy was born January 24, 1964, in Brunswick, to Joseph Eugene Pickren and Sandra Lois Laricy Pickren, he was a military brat that traveled the world due to his father's Air Force career.  After the family moved back to Brunswick, Billy attended Glynn Academy.  After High School, he received his Master Electrician certification, and was the co-owner of B & R Enterprises, opening A & B Electric in 2006.  Billy was a certified scuba diver, and enjoyed hiking, biking, kayaking, camping, motorcycling, and race car driving.  He had a zest for life and was always up for adventure.
