"Skip" (William G) Roeder, 77, born in Baltimore MD, lost his battle with lung cancer on 3-22-2025 with his loving wife Mary, his son Nick, her son Fred Pleis, her daughter Charlene Crawford and her grandchild Cami Crawford at his side. He is survived by his brother Jack Roeder (Georgeann), his daughter- in-law's Marisa Roeder and Jacquelynn Pleis; grandchildren Ben Roeder, Freddy and Tanner Pleis and Cami Crawford. He will be missed by extended family, friends from Philadelphia, PA; Houma, LA and Glynn County. He was a USNR veteran and retired Chief Inspector for the Federal Railroad Administration. He will be remembered for his blue eyes, love of family, fishing, music, cooking and New Orleans Saints football, becoming a fan after Hurricane Katrina. C hapman Funeral Chapel and Crematory is assisting the family. Burial will be arranged by Eternal Reefs at a later date.
