Obituary

William 'Billy' Grady Partin, 60, of Brunswick, passed away Tuesday at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 2, 2026, 1:00pm, from the gravesite at Chapel Park Cemetery with Brett Buie officiating.  A reception for fellowship with family and friends, will be held at the Chapman Event Center, immediately following the service.

Billy was born February 8, 1965, in Brunswick to James and Valoree Partin.  He had lived in Brunswick all of his life and was a 1983 graduate of Brunswick High School, where he played Varsity Baseball and was voted Best Looking his Senior Year.  After High School, He worked at Georgia Pacific and served as the Union President.  After retirement from Georgia Pacific, he went to work as a welder in maintenance at SNF Holding Company, formerly CIC Riceboro (Chemtall), retiring in 2016.  Billy loved all 'ball' sports, he was an avid Atlanta Braves Baseball, Georgia Bulldog Football, and Atlanta Falcon Football fan.  For many years, Billy coached youth sports, including, Football, Baseball, and Softball.

Billy is survived by his daughter, Kelley Partin Herrin (Hugh) of Odum, granddaughters, Noah Kate and Neely Herrin of Odum, brothers, Larry Partin and Timmy Partin, both of Brunswick, a sister Theresa Partin, nieces and nephew, Taci Partin, Kasey Partin, and Zak Partin, and special friend, Debbie McElmurray.  Billy was preceded in death by his father James Partin, and a sister, Kristy Partin.
