Winston Long,58, of Woodbine, passed away Saturday, January 13,2024 at Southeast Georgia Health System of Brunswick.

Winston was born on October 1,1965 to Sarah Belle Long and Tommy Long Sr. in Fernandina Beach, Florida. He graduated from Camden County High School in 1984 and worked as a technician for TDS for 31 years. Winston loved GA football, fishing, and playing his guitars with his nephew Dalton.

Winston is survived by his mother; Sarah Belle Long of Woodbine, two brothers; Tommy Joe Long of Woodbine, Dennis Long of Woodbine, two sisters; Kathy Dee Long of Kingsland, Shelby Long of Woodbine, four nephews; John Dustin Long of Woodbine, Tommy Lee Long of Woodbine, Jeffrey Cole Boyd of Kingsland, Matthew Dalton Boyd of Kingsland, and three nieces; Morgan Leigh Boyd of Kingsland, Taylor Long of St. Marys, Elizabeth Victoria Long of Kingsland. He is preceded in death by his father, Tommy Long Sr.

A celebration of life will be held at Crooked River State Park on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 5 PM at Group Shelter 2.
